What a lovely pick-me-up on a rainy day in Richmond UK from our friends (the trainers) at BARCH Richmond.
I’ve posted on several Fit as a Fiddle Fridays that Cathy and I were fortunate to find BARCH almost from day one on the ground as expats in London. I can’t believe it has been four years!
Throwback: FaaFF on Saturday: You BARCHing?
BARCH means respect in Gallic, and we love the tag line, No Ego Training! It’s a fitting motto, really. No Ego Training could’ve come straight out of Ryan Holiday’s Ego Is the Enemy—that quiet reminder that humility and consistency beat flash every time.
Seneca said,
“The greatest empire is to be emperor of oneself.”
Four years in, Cathy and I still leave every BARCH session lighter, steadier, a little more ourselves. The rain outside just makes the work inside shine brighter.
We both had a cameo in this video at BARCH this morning: When we say dance or five-star jumps!
Stay fit!
