This is my favourite tree at The Richmond Golf Club. It’s also the tree that quietly inspired the cover of RELEVANCE.
Right now, it looks like nothing is happening.
- No leaves.
- No color.
- No applause.
But this is not decline. This is preparation.
Winter is when trees do their most important work – strengthening roots, conserving energy, deciding what not to grow next.
We live in a world that treats stillness like failure and rest like quitting. Nature disagrees.
If your life feels quiet right now, good.
Quiet seasons aren’t empty. They’re intentional.
Make it a great Monday by trusting the season you’re in – especially if it doesn’t look impressive yet. (Spring has a way of showing up right on time.)

No rush. No scorecard expectations. Just movement, air, and gratitude.
It felt like the right reminder in the right season.
