The first Nugget from Dad

Fourteen years ago this week, when Sally started university, I sent the very first Nugget from Dad. It was a one paragraph message, titled ‘Make it a Great Monday – Labor Day’.

Who would have thought all these years later, I would have churned out nearly 1500 morning love notes to you three girls?

Today, I launch my new website, www.gpagesingletary.com, where the tagline is ‘every gPage Singletary thing’. Learning to build a website with WordPress has been a lot of fun, albeit challenging. I’m pleased to now have a place for my short form and longer form writing projects.

It turns out that continuing to learn new things is a key to living a long and successful life. I know this from my case studies in my RELEVANCE: From Beginning to End project. You can learn about those amazing individuals at churnOn pub.

NUGGETS began in the fall of 2010 when our oldest daughter left for college. (Make it a Great Monday; Stay Whole Tuesday; Woman Power Wednesday; Make Anything Thursday; and Fit as a Fiddle Friday.) All these years later, we have a UGA grad, a SCAD grad, a Fightin’ Texas Aggie grad, and 1500 nuggets. Plus, Mum and Dad up and moved to England. Those are my daughters above, and their guiding light – truly my every gPage Singletary thing.
