Good morning Lucy,
It’s Woman Power Wednesday and I’m celebrating Aunt Dianne and two of the many special gifts she has given us through the years. First, the now-infamous “Wear a smile, Be a friend.” mantra, which we Singletarys shortened to WASBAF. Here’s a blast from Nuggets past explaining more about WASBAF. That will bring big smiles to everyone!
Second, Dianne gave us the saying, “The Queen of England is coming to dinner!” I thought about that when I saw this little statuette sitting beside the WASBAF sign on the kitchen window sill. This was Dianne’s way of saying show up for dinner dressed appropriately and ready to use your best manners! It will not be long before we all have dinner with the Queen in London!
